The Canadian Council of Land Surveyors
is a national consensus based enabling forum providing proactive
leadership to its member associations.
Its prime objectives are to provide national strategies, and national and international representation for land surveyors within the geomatics profession.

David Thompson Awards
The third annual David Thompson National Geomatics Awards
were presented at the National Surveyors’ Conference in St. Johns, Newfoundland.
Awards were presented to Fugro Jacques Geosurveys Inc. (Patrick Byrne) in the category of “Innovation in Geomatics”, to Hydrographic and Geodetic Consulting (David Gray) in the category of “Contribution to Society”, and to McElhanney Associates (Jim Christie) in the category of “Unusual Application in Geomatics”.

National Forum & CCLS-CCAG AGM 2010
CCLS hosted the 2010 Annual
National Surveyors' Association Forum on March 28 and 29, 2010 in Regina, SK,
immediately following the Saskatchewan Land Surveyors' Association annual meeting.
Reports of the proceedings are on the

page. The meeting concluded with the CCLS Annual Directors' and Members' Meetings.
